Welcome to the Missoula TEACH Academy Virtual Library

We are open all day (and night) every day!
Please take time to check out the many resources we have to offer within our district!
E-Books & Digital Resources
Sora by OverDrive is an awesome app that lets you borrow eBooks and audiobooks from your school’s library right on your device. Sora makes it simple to find and enjoy books anytime, anywhere. Plus, it helps you keep track of your reading progress!
Note: to access, you need to log into your MCPS Google account.
There are books here you can read or listen to either at school or at home. Look for the circle with sound lines for the audio books and look for the E-books for books to read yourself.
TumbleBook Library is an online collection of interactive e-books designed to engage young readers. It offers a user-friendly platform that encourages literacy development through vibrant illustrations, narration, and interactive features, making it an invaluable resource for parents, educators, and kids alike.
World Book Student is an online encyclopedia offering age-appropriate, high-interest content from the full World Book Encyclopedia.

Library & Technology Policies
MCPS Board Policies
Check-out/ Return Policy:
Materials typically circulate for 1-2 weeks and may be renewed. Students may also request and check out materials from other schools within the district. If a item is lost, please your child’s librarian about replacement.
Book Care Policy:
We encourage all students to treat library books with care and respect so they can be enjoyed by everyone. Please keep books away from food, liquids, pets, and younger siblings, and store them in a safe, dry place when not being read. If a book is damaged or lost, let their librarian know as soon as possible so we can work together on a solution. Our goal is to help students become responsible readers and library users.
Technology
We believe technology is a powerful tool for learning, creativity, and exploration. In the library, students use technology to access information, collaborate on projects, and build digital literacy skills. We emphasize responsible use, digital citizenship, and safe online behavior to help students grow into thoughtful and capable users of technology.
Technology Use Forms
In order to use Missoula Country School equipment, students and parents must sign the MCPS Acceptable Use Agreement (also known as the Acceptable User Policy or "AUP"). This form serves as a promise to use our equipment responsibly. In addition, students are able to use Google Apps For Education (also known as "GAFE"). GAFE is an important suite of tools including word processing, slideshow, spreadsheet, drawing, and more. Click here to visit the MCPS Forms section and please contact the school librarian if you have any questions regarding our technology use.
